Quality control
Our QC process
Every part passes through the same five stages before it is allowed into a box. No exceptions, no seconds sold as firsts.
Five stages
From pre-preg roll to your driveway
- 01
Material intake
Every pre-preg roll arrives with a batch certificate and goes straight into cold storage. Resin content and shelf life are logged, and anything outside spec is rejected before it reaches a mould.
- 02
Layup and autoclave cure
Plies are cut to a fixed pattern so weave direction is identical part to part, then cured under heat and pressure on a logged cycle. The cure chart is stored against the batch number.
- 03
Surface and structural inspection
Each panel is checked under raking light for print-through, weave distortion, pinholes and clear-coat defects, then tapped for voids and delamination along every bond line.
- 04
Chassis test-fit
A sample from every batch is dry-fitted to the real chassis it was moulded from. Mounting points, panel gaps and edge lines must line up with no trimming or heat forming.
- 05
Photograph, pack and ship
The finished part is photographed, foam-wrapped and crated where needed, with hardware and the install guide in the box. Photos stay on file so any transit damage claim is settled fast.
What gets a part rejected
- Any visible weave distortion across a flat or a curve.
- Print-through, pinholes, or clear-coat orange peel.
- A hollow tap anywhere along a bond line.
- A test-fit that needs force, trimming or heat to sit flush.
